(WLRA)

Charter

The Western Load Research Association (WLRA) has information exchange as its most important function. Attendance is open to individuals and electric utilities having an interest or engaged in load research or related activities. The WLRA meets twice a year, in the Spring and Fall.

The WLRA is coordinated by an executive committee, which is responsible for long-range planning, conducting the meetings and business sessions, and setting agendas to focus on pertinent issues in an organized manner. The executive committee is composed of two co-chairpersons and an appointed representative of the host utility. The co-chairpersons are elected for staggered, two-year terms of office, and they may choose to alternate the chairing of the meetings at their discretion.
